Sustainability Science Programs AAAS 2008 Annual Meeting February 16, 2008 - Boston, MA Document: Click to download
As research and academic
programs in Science and Technology for Sustainable Development have begun to
emerge internationally, so too have fellowship programs. One of the topics that will be addressed in
the Forum for Sustainability Science Programs is how creating interaction
between these fellowship programs might serve as an entry-point for greater
between their sponsoring universities and organizations. The roundtable discussion associated with
this Forum will discuss a proposal to create a Sustainability Science Fellows
Consortium.
In preparation for the
roundtable discussion, the details for a number of fellowship programs focused
on Sustainability Science and Technology were compiled. This document should not be considered a comprehensive
list of all such programs. It simply reflects
the suggestions made by Network Members of the Forum on Science and Innovation for
Sustainable Development and AAAS staff.
